Brookstone Management is a leader in residential and commercial property preservation, Real Estate Owned (REO), and Single/Multi-Family rental management solutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a driven and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Repairs & Claims Manager

This role is ideal for a hands-on operational leader with a strong background in construction management, repair oversight, vendor coordination, and property-related project execution. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage complex repair initiatives, and help drive operational excellence across client portfolios. Experience with hazard claims, insurance-related repairs, or mortgage servicing environments is highly valued, but not required.

The Senior Repairs & Claims Manager will partner closely with internal operations teams, vendors, clients, and third parties to ensure repair projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with client and investor expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee repair and rehabilitation projects across residential and commercial properties
Manage vendor performance, repair timelines, scope reviews, and overall project execution
Review estimates, bids, invoices, scopes of work, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate and monitor high-exposure or escalated repair matters from initiation through resolution
Assist with hazard-related repairs, insurance restoration workflows, and claim-related coordination when applicable
Partner with operations, vendor management, and client-facing teams to ensure service level expectations are met
Develop and improve operational processes, quality standards, and repair management procedures
Analyze repair trends, project costs, timelines, and vendor performance to identify efficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Communicate with clients, vendors, adjusters, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding project updates, approvals, and escalations
Support onboarding of new clients and implementation of repair-related workflows and requirements
Train and mentor team members on repair processes, documentation standards, and operational best practices
Assist leadership with reporting, project tracking, forecasting, and operational planning
Participate in client meetings, operational reviews, and industry events as needed

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in construction management, property repairs, restoration, property preservation, mortgage servicing, REO, or related operational environments
Strong understanding of residential construction, repair scopes, and vendor management
Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and competing priorities simultaneously
Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and relationship management abilities
Experience reviewing bids, estimates, invoices, and repair documentation
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Ability to learn and navigate multiple operational systems and platforms
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require

Desired Qualifications

Experience with hazard claims, insurance restoration, or claim-related repair coordination
Familiarity with investor or insurer guidelines including FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, or mortgage servicing environments
Experience working with third-party contractors, adjusters, or insurance carriers
Background in property preservation, REO, default servicing, or field services operations
Experience identifying operational efficiencies through technology, automation, or process improvements
Experience managing or supporting offshore or remote operational teams
Experience presenting operational updates or project summaries to clients or leadership groups
